The
Sioux of Today |
The
current Sioux Nation is one of the largest North American groups.
They continue to live mainly on reservations in Minnesota, Nebraska,
North and South Dakota, and Montana.
Many Sioux are engaged in farming and ranching, including the
raising of bison.
In 1990 there were more than 100,000 Sioux in the United States
and more than 10,000 in Canada.
